I saw Norm & Tom when I got home last night. Thomas Frank was too damn cynical about when Dems are in charge.

I have studied and MET some of the Dem candidates and I think they are better people than those two gloomy guys say they are. Am I making sense?

Been trying to figure out what flavor of Cool-aid it is they're drinking that make them think like they do. I've eliminated the traditional flavors. Grape, orange, cherry and lemon lime. I think I've narrowed it down to one of the goofy flavored ones they've come out with in recent years and determined that it has to be the strawberry qiwi don't mistake if for bursting berry, although that flavor is highly suspect also.. whatever you do, don't drink it, or you'll end up sounding like that repuke lady that just called. Any dissenters from the republiclowns maintaining control were accused of being liars and democrats, even though they were making valid, rational points. But the second 20 minute period was devoted to D's and anyone who felt that they shouldn't take control wasn't challenged at all. I felt it was totally incongruous, especially given the outlandish statements some of the callers were making!

How sleazy can C-Span go. That was absolutely disgusting. The host quizzes the Repukes that call in if they're against the throne, accusing them of not being "true to the king" but a Democrat bashes the Dems and she just sits there like a smiling lump. After watching Bill Moyer's wonderful expose on the "real inner workings" of the Bush crime family, I don't put anything past this gang of Repukes. I'm so sick of hearing this libelous venom on every channel on my tv. Heard some idiot call in C-Span yesterday saying "god help us if that lesbian, Nancy Pelosi, becomes leader. We've got to get our message out people. Write your local paper, tell everybody you see on a regular basis, the Democrats are the only answer to this absolute mess we're in.
