Has anyone ever ask a Republican this question
Has this administration improved your standard of living? Have they given you affordable health care? Have they given you job security? Have they helped to keep jobs in the United States? Have they given you better education for your children? Have they given you affordable college education? Have they kept your energy prices down? Have they kept your air and water clean? Have they helped this county it anyway?
If someone can seriously name anything besides the war on terrorism (this is usually a Republican standard answer) don't hesitate to let us know.
This is the platform we Democrats need to run on. Lets focus on the basic needs of our country because surely the Republicans have not.

1. Very good
But don't leave the so-called War on Terror out of the mix. It's as phony as everything else the Bushistas have done.

4. Yes I have and I got the same BS
Taxes are down, their stocks are reaping untold riches, welfare queens are almost gone, free loaders are no longer on the tax payers backs, prisons are being built and filled and most of all they are safe from child molesters, criminals, terrorists and its a wonderful life. Even if they did have to stop driving their Hummers, it was well worth it, after all the christen armies are on the march against porn and teen sex. Plus as an added bonus, Roe vs Wade will be revoked by the end of the year.

5. They let the drug companies write the medicare bill,
they have appointed polluters to key posts at the EPA, a failed superintendent who falsified records was named US Secretary of Education, oil company executives have taken over energy management at the federal level, etcetera ad nauseum.

dubya's agenda is to keep his cronies employed. It is about helping corporate interests.

He doesn't give a shit about the average American citizen. Anyone who doesn't realize this hasn't been paying attention.

9. Need to tie it to terrorism AND TAXES
Repubs tend to be myopic about taxes. Dems need to reiterate the fact that so many taxes have actually gone up, and for those people who pay less taxes, how much more they're paying now for health care, education, gas, energy, food, etc. Tie it all to taxes.

Then bring in terrorism - are we really safer from terrorists in Smalltown USA, or are we actually in more danger from rising costs of health care, cost of living, education, heating our homes, gas in our cars, etc... Bushie isn't giving money where it's needed to the communities most in danger of a terrorist attack, and the communities and the people within them cannot afford to pay for their own safety - unless, they hike property taxes, etc.
