....No-you have not.I have worked as an EMT and am conditioned to violence as it relates to helping injured people-I got there and dealt with the effects afterwards. My brother whom IS a combat vet and later worked AS a fire-fighter IS conditioned to violence...he inflicted violence, received violence, and called for aid to ameliorate violence.....Never tell me how TV and video games "conditions" anyone-no sane person sees the real thing and doesn't recognize the difference...
The ones that are allowed to watch whatever they want on TV are also playing violent video games (parent issues). The ones who have limited TV exposure may play video games but R14 and below. Two distinct types of kids.
Guess which ones cause problems when they are here? Guess which ones are not doing well in school? Guess which ones pee all over our toilet seat? Guess which ones roll their eyes when asked to take their plates into the kitchen?
A few are no longer welcome in our home (I am good friends w/ one of the mothers - she is very sweet and WEAK)
