Pundits wonder if there are 'images' on Foley's Instant Messages

Foley's early emails might pass as 'overly friendly', but apparently the pundits have been reading his instant messages and say they are repulsive and revolting.

Many of these dirty talkers who instant message each other often send photos of porn and pics of their own weenies etc.

Oh brother, if pics are involved, and intersate communications with minors...

(and what kind of 52 year old man has a kiddie site in the first place?) on or shortly before December 5, 2005, which was his last login date.

It would be fascinating to know what he had on that site before the scrub, just like it would be fascinating to know why he resigned so quickly over "a few drunken and overly friendly" emails.

Sorry, I'm a techno dunce, but I keep hearing IT folks say that you can almost always recover what was "scrubbed" if you have the right software, that the only real protection is to take a hammer to your hard drive. Also, would a public server like My Space have back ups somewhere?

I'm sure the page is sitting somewhere and that it'll resurface soon.

Foley was the kind of guy who'd just delete everything on the page but his screen name, his age, and his "occupation," which were the only things on his page except a buddy named Tom. I think the December 5, 2005 date is important because I think that's when the upper leadership found out and told him to knock off the behavior and cover his tracks.
