Dewine was acting a little desperate on MTP...
IS he behind in the polls? He acted like a man running for his life. He kept interrupting and talking over Sherrod Brown. He looked like a scared politician, from my perspective. Is this going to be a pick-up for the Democrats?

4. If you are going by this poll Brown is up 6 points
these weekly polls we'll be seeing in the next few weeks wont mean a whole lot because of the number of voters surveyed.

3. I thought Brown seemed very subdued.
DeWine ignored Russert when he would try to move on to another question, just continuing to talk about his own agenda. Brown would just clam up instantly like a scolded schoolboy. Not good.

5. DeWine is desperate
I believe he is rated in the bottom three for approval ratings for Senators. Also, he is the incumbent and polls have consistently showed Sherrod Brown ahead anywhere from 2-8 points.

He and the Republican Senatorial Committee are pouring a ton of money into TV commercials.
