WH response to Woodward's book: "it didn't contain anything new."

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2006-09-29-dems-book_x.htm?POE=NEWISVA

<snip>

Asked about the book, the White House on Thursday night dismissed it, telling The Associated Press it didn't contain anything new. During a briefing Friday at a NATO meeting in Slovenia, Rumsfeld declined comment on the book, saying he hadn't read it.

1. They NEVER READ ANYTHING - including the PDB!
These are the least imaginative, least curious, most un-read people in existence.

Unless some sycophant comes up to them and tells them something, they are completely uninformed.

3. Well....not new to THEM - the rest of the country big fat NEWSFLASH!!!!
Honestly, they are just saying, "Nothing to see here folks, just move along."

I'm sure this book will never be mentioned on Faux Snooze or Leslie's, Dead Intern's or BowTie Boy's little show but they can't hide and pretend it isn't out there.

Now is the time for all good Democratic people to make sure this book gets wide discussion.

I still don't like Woodward - he is just another repug turncoat selling books - but if this book helps take down a couple of asswipes - good!

4. Yep! It's the same old "I haven't seen the report and I'll get back
to you on that." song and dance.

Did ya'll notice how the MSM went away from the presser when the press started showing their fangs.

Now he's singing about how we'd have to fight them over here...oh, brother.

5. Tony's response didn't contain anything new, it was the same old bullshit!
The American people have already formed their opinions of the Iraq war, we are simply waiting for this lying sack of shit to catch up with us.

7. Well, you believe the President or you believe your own eyes??
"We are a nation at war. I wish I could report differently, but you need to have a President who sees the world the way it is, not the way somebody would hope it would be."
- George W. Bush, September 28, 2006

8. the Kissinger link is very intriguing and it seems underplayed
in this article....... seems that this is really a much bigger part
of this story.... Kissinger gets to repeat Viet Nam all over again,
guess he didn't learn the first time, eh? I wonder if Condi has spent a
lot of evenings with Henry, chatting up how long Americans will tolerate
staying in Iraq......Afganistan.......Iran..........
