"They All Look The Same To Me"
Is this guy for real?
I think he reflects the general stupidity of those that still support the Bush Junta.
Intellectual laziness coupled with overt racism.

Lott On Iraq: ‘Why Do Sunnis Kill Shiites? … They All Look The Same To Me’

Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS), who famously suggested the U.S. wouldn’t have “all these problems” had Strom Thurmond been elected President, said today that the religious differences among Iraqis makes the conflict very difficult for him to understand:

“It’s hard for Americans, all of us, including me, to understand what’s wrong with these people,” he said. “Why do they kill people of other religions because of religion? Why do they hate the Israeli’s and despise their right to exist? Why do they hate each other? Why do Sunnis kill Shiites? How do they tell the difference? They all look the same to me.“

Speaking shortly after a meeting with President Bush and Vice President Cheney, Lott added that Iraq wasn’t among the White House’s priorities.

“No, none of that,” Lott told reporters after the session when asked if the Iraq war was discussed. “You’re the only ones who obsess on that. We don’t and the real people out in the real world don’t for the most part.“

I guess "real people" in the "real world" aren't supposed to care that an average of two or three of our soldiers keep getting killed over there every day?

I guess Iraq is right down there with Osama bin Laden as "non-priorities" for this gang of traitors.

2. What a bigot!
I remember as a kid hearing those sort of comments about various other ethnic groups that did not match the all white area of America in which I grew up.
It was not aimed at any one race but all those that were different from our little town, black, asian, mid-east, hispanic.
Somehow I grew past all that and realized it was bigotry. These are un-natural Republican traits.

3. That piece of shit is a baptist
He knows better than anyone about persecuting others of different religious beliefs.

As for the "they all look alike", he's just showing his racist repuglican stripes. Only an ignorant racist would use the term "look" when referring to religion. POS. He's not even smart enough to hide the racism.
