Will Bernie Sanders ( I ) have any power as a Senator?

I wonder if Bernie would have filibustered, or if he would have backed the caucus and voted for cloture.

I am glad we will have a Senator like Sanders.

I gotta believe from everything I know about Bernie that he would have filibustered. One is better than no one willing to stand up and be counted. Bernie is a genuine patriot. :patriot:

3. Depends on what the balance is after the election

If it's a really closely divided Congress, Sanders will have a lot more power as a swing vote. The Democrats will have to work harder to keep him satisfied, so he could negotiate.

If it's more lopsided, he won;t have as much sway.

But either way, he'll be like Paul Wellstone, in the sense of being a Progressive Conscience in the Senate.
