Request of DUers: US Senate Toss up race Needs You! (MO)
Recently a DUer from MN donated to our Missouri Senate nominee. This is one of the three toss-up races that will likely swing the balance of power in the US Senate. I ask that you donate to Claire McCaskill and if you can not to join her campaign. Click on the banner below and kick this thread. Thank you!

2. Here's her website....She's running against Jim Talent, the prick who....
screwed our senator Jean Carnahan in 2002. Talent has been a Bush-toady from day-one and has really been an embarrassment to his home state. Hopefully, Claire (who has won statewide and consistently keeps Talent under 50% in the polls) can pull it off.

3. I donated! Has the MO Voter ID law been struck down in the courts, yet?
I thought I had seen something to that effect. If so, then McCaskill is in better shape - the ID law will hurt her more than it will the Rethug.

4. Yes it was found unconstitutional
the reptiles are appealing though, so we're not out of the woods yet.

5. How's The GOTV Effort?
This race looks so close, it's gonna come out to ground game. I haven't really seen much on the efforts of many campaigns on the number of people they have ready to go on election day and if there's additional help needed. With the exception of some elected races in Northern Illinois (Duckworth in the 6th & Seals in the 10th), looks like things on this side of the Mississippi are in good shape. Maybe we can ship a bunch of DU'ers over the Eads Bridge or into the hinterland to help out.

BTW...I've sent Claire two donations so far. We shouldn't have lost the Carnahan seat in the first place.

Cheers...
