Yes, I would vote for President George Clooney. How bad could it be?
http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory?id=2490590

Clooney, a liberal Democrat, is well known for his activism. Lately, he has been urging Congress and the United Nations to help end atrocities in the Darfur.

When it comes to his own future, maybe he was just trying to lower expectations.

Clooney recalled at one point that he starred in "Batman and Robin," in which Schwarzenegger played the villainous Mr. Freeze.

"He's gone on to be governor, and I still think I'm Batman," Clooney said.

-----------------

An actor for president of the United States? Silly notion you say? How about a cocaine damaged alcoholic for president? Of the two Georges, I'll take the handsome intelligent actor.

1. Too intelligent to be President
You need to be stupid to be popular with the masses.

6. George has no interest in being President, and he does more good being out
in the world and putting his heart and passion into the causes he feels he can make a real difference in.

He's a great guy.. none better.

John Kerry is still the best man to run the USA.

23. Hey yeah! I totally forgot that was him.
All he has to do is stay in that role for the rest of his life, and he's a made man! :)

11. I Like Clooney too. He'd make a great Ambassador
We'd be ruining Clooney's life wouldn't we, if we drafted him as a presidential nominee?

In the past, No US presidential nominee has been up against anything like this super entrenched
wall of corruption existing in the White House today. I don't doubt for a minute he wouldn't try to
remediate the damage done to the country, a Herculean task to say the least. But I fear they'd
destroy him in the process. This is a 2 phase project. First we have to Win..that hasn't been too
easy lately..what with rampant election fraud resulting in what amounts to Grand Theft..
Then physically removing them from office. You know they won't go willingly.

Are we really prepared to go the limit? Can we overcome the most ruthless, vicious, sociopaths that
have high jacked America, right under our very noses?

The very worst thing we can do is underestimate their desperation. This is our last chance folks,
the planet is dying as we speak. If they are allowed to Lie, Cheat and Steal this next Pesidential
election; we might as well pack it in now, because sooner than you think, there won't be anything
left for us to go home to!

2. he might be our most informed prez since
Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 04:56 AM by cyclezealot
maybe since the beginning of the republic. Certainly one of our more honest. I think you started a great idea. When can we get his draft Clooney committee up and running? Take that back. I'd be for Clooney only after Kucinich decided he would not run. But, Clooney be second on my list.
Certainly his gray matter exceeds Reagan's by one million fold.

He's got style, smarts, charm and talent.

therefore democrats would never chose him.

Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 06:06 AM by cyclezealot
a charming US president like Clooney is what the US needs. I agree, Clooney has better things to do . Far more interesting over dealing with the whores in Congress. I'd much rather spend my free time at his villa on Lake COmo, over Camp David. Well, the private plane of Bush's might be more comfortable.

17. Clooney is a better actor too
AND may I say this, because it must be said...

A DARN site more attractive to the eye.

That said, he is also smart, funny and can carry a conversation..personable, but with a strong personality (not a door mat)

See what I mean?

He'll never run though. He's already said he's had too many women and done too many drugs to run for public office.

16. IN a heartbeat. (in spite of him being my wife's hunk object) because
he understands REAL politics, is intelligent and articulate and stands on his convictions even against overwhelming odds.

Being able to deliver a speech believably is a plus.

Unlike some other celebs toying with these ideas, he's already but his money (and time and heart) where his mouth is.
