Just when you think College Republicans can't get any more primitive...
Edited on Thu Sep-21-06 09:42 PM by marmar
I went to see Amy Goodman of Democracy Now tonight at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor (She was incredible, by the way!). Afterward, I went across the street to Borders, where she was signing copies of her new book.
Anyway, I was sitting in a couch not too far from Goodman reading, waiting for the line to shorten when I overheard this really stooopid girl from the statewide College Republicans group bitching about how the University of Michigan tossed her off campus for protesting "baby killer" Sen. Debbie Stabenow's appearance (complete bullshit, I'm sure), how the College Republicans at U-M were wimpy and wouldn't support her, and how Republicans are totally discriminated against at U-M and all over Ann Arbor.
Then she told the two people she was talking to that she was leaving to go participate in an "Illegal Immigrant" football game sponsored by the College Republicans. If the immigrant team was to lose, they would get "deported," she said, laughing out loud.
Can you believe these apes?

3. Friends don't let College Republicans drink OR drive.
In fact, true friends keep College Republicans heavily sedated and in four-point restraints for their own good and that of society.

2. They did the same here in IL to Obama
Calling him a baby killer when he was talking about stem cell research. But the Dem's that were there let them have it. Obama is a great speaker and made hell of a lot of since.

18. annabanana, exactly!
College Dems all over the country should put up signs like this all over campus:

Print out those enlistment forms and put them on all cars on campus with Repub bumperstickers. Ideally, someone would be videotaping the reactions.

16. Plus, reality, truth, facts and history have an inherent liberal bias...
You'd think college would be an environment they wouldn't like anyway.

13. Sounds like a chapter from "Ann Coulter: The Early Years."
Only in her case the setting would be Cornell, and she'd be standing around in an indie bookstore on the Commons, whining about how terrible it is that she got tossed off campus for booing Gerry Ferraro, and how nobody in the People's Republic of Ithaca would stand up for her rights. Then she'd go off to a special sale being sponsored by the College Republicans--a clothing sale featuring chic little black cocktail dresses sewn overseas in sweatshops--because Lord knows you can't buy anything like that at the shops here, they're all so politically correct. Ha ha ha.

19. Should have asked her why she hasn't enlisted.
They usually just babble and get all whiny then. I love poking them in the side. It's fun to watch.
