Cokie Roberts calls 'torture' a fantastic campaign issue.

On ABC bullshit show. She said that the Rethugs screwed up a great campaign issue. God Almighty. We are talking about FUCKING TORTURING PEOPLE. This is a sick nation.
4. Why is there a debate? Why are we discussing this?
Humanity has decided it is wrong to torture another human being. Hell, animal cruelty is a crime. Why would this even be a debate? Everyone needs to put a sign on their lawn that says TOTURE IS WRONG. TORTURE IS CRUEL. Add a few pics of what torture looks like to push your message across.
For real!! Let's do it on live TV so everyone can see how it is done. Let's do it without the use of modern torture devices... even better what is at hand out on a farm and mother nature.
It would be humane because I say it is! I would tell her it is humane because it is two humans interacting with each other.
6. What a disgusting mindset for ANY human being. She is a lost soul by now -
she is a zombie - a casualty of the GOP takeover and control of the broadcast media. They imposed a fascist worldview on so many talking heads and Cokie turned into one of their most loyal zombies.
19. What's amazing is that TORTURE is being discussed AT ALL!
The "ideas" that these insane REPUKES are proposing used to be considered so vile and disguating, only the criminally insane would dare to discuss these views with themselves in secret. NORMAL persons were afraid to even THINK such things aloud, let alone CAMPAIGN for them!
That is how LOW we as a nation and world have come - it's been a successful race to the BOTTOM - we are now in Idi Amin's and Pol Pot's world...
22. Does she think war is fabulous as well? God I'm sick of
these fashion diva "journalists". Did you see Christianne Amanpour on Bill Maher this weekend. This is a real journalist and the contrast to Roberts, et al is striking.
25. There could be, but who would report it? ABC? bwahahahahahaha

That's a good question. I haven't seen ANYONE reporting on the worldwide backlash or support of the new bush* torture doctrine. We have a media much like our president, they are not curious.
I'm trying to fathom the American public being in support of torture. For some reason, it's not working unless I put a laugh track behind it and pretend it's one big-ass tv show.
36. I'm afraid that will be the outcome of this. Congress will allow torture
even if they cloak it in some other 'politically' savvy name.
According to the talk shows, they are working on a compromise? You either torture or you don't folks. Compromise means bush* has won this like all his other phony battles with Congress.
