What Will Scotty Say Now That The Photos Are Out????
Now that Time has the photos out with Bush & Abramoff together at White House receptions, will he remember Abramoff? Reportedly they even discussed having twins.

The White House says the president doesn't recall meeting Jack Abramoff, who bribed officials.
By Michael McAuliff - New York Daily News

Washington - The Bush administration has denied that President Bush knows lobbyist Jack Abramoff - who has pleaded guilty to bribing officials - but reports surfacing over the weekend suggest there are at least five photos showing the two have met repeatedly.

The Washingtonian and Time magazines each reported that their reporters were shown the pictures, apparently by sources linked to Abramoff.

That's after White House spokesman Scott McClellan said this month, "The president does not know him, nor does the president recall ever meeting him." The White House refused the request, saying it wouldn't launch a "fishing expedition." According to Time, one photo shows Abramoff and Bush with Raul Garza, chairman of the Kickapoo Indians in Texas, who has been indicted on charges of stealing $300,000 from his tribe. Sources told the Washingtonian that Abramoff knew Bush well enough that the president knew the names of Abramoff's children and that the pair chatted about being parents of twins.

6. Maybe they need some pressure from the public
Or maybe they're blackmailing Bush or something. I don't know why they're talking about them but not releasing. I think just the knowledge being out there is enough to make people wonder. If Bush lies about this what else does he lie about? When my grandmother on my dad's side confessed to not supporting Bush anymore (she even was up until the Katrina happening and then around Thanksgiving confessed) she said one of the main reason's was because of all of his lying. She likes honest people and was even doubting whether or not he really was a Christian. This is someone who didn't get why I was voting for John Kerry. So hopefully this will make more people question and wonder and want to be open to what the democrats and other people in general are telling them about things with Bush from Iraq to Katrina.

32. and Fearless Leader wrote a letter in support of Abramoff
in regards to the Saipan lobbying that Abramoff was engaged in. This was done while he was still Governor. The Aspens are all connected by the roots and that goes back to Poppy's campaign.

11. Let me make this very simple: Susan Ralston
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Susan_B._Ralston

Susan Bonzon Ralston, Special Assistant to the President & Assistant to the Senior Advisor Karl Rove, was Jack Abramoff's executive assistant at Preston Gates and Ellis and later at the Greenberg Traurig law and lobbying firm, where "she served as the assistant director of governmental affairs. Before moving to the nation’s capital, she was an office administrator for M&J Wilkow, Ltd., a commercial real estate firm in Chicago, Illinois." <1> (http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/week_2005_09_18.php#006598)<2> (http://www.asianfortune.com/aug04/Articles/PROFILE%20Susan%20RALSTON.htm)

"Ms. Ralston assists Mr. Rove in overseeing the strategic planning, political affairs, public liaison, and intergovernmental affairs efforts of the White House." <3> (http://www.philippinefestival.org/pfc2003ma12.html)

Ralston is cited as being the highest ranking Filipino-American in the Bush White House. The Philippine News Online reported (http://www.philippinenews.com/news/view_article.html?article_id=3e0c4851a55bc3720463f093929c619d) September 22, 2004, that "Ralston, who was promoted special assistant to the president last July, is also actively involved in courting the Asian American vote."

13. Speaking of Ralston, did you see this?

http://www.pinoymonthly.net/01-2006/comm01_source.htm

Source : Ralston leaving her White House job

CHICAGO, IL --- PINOY Monthly has learned from a reliable source in Chicago that Susan B. Ralston has left her White House job and is now working at the Department of Commerce.

Before her departure, Ralston, 38, was the highest ranking
Filipino American in the Bush White House, working as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush in addition to her functions as Assistant to Karl Rove, the president’s Senior Adviser and Deputy Chief of Staff.

...

Earlier, Ralston denied reports of her departure from the White
House.

“I am focused on my job serving the President in my current
capacity,” Ralston was quoted by the Philippine News.

...

Asked if she may be called to testify again by Special Prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald regarding further investigation of CIA leakage and outing of agent Valerie Plame, and possible White House cover-up, Ralston said she could not comment as the case is still under investigation.*

21. This Spin's Already In...Get Ready To Hear "Click" Alot
This is being dismissed as boooosh takes thousands of pictures with "friends and contributors" all the time, so no biggie. I heard even Jonathan Alter speak this meme on Imus this morning. It got out fast...but for good reason...whomever has the pictures is dangling over the White House and the corporate media for something and we'll see if their price is met. My bets are we'll eventually see pictures, but the regime's game now is to stall its release and distort the importance of both what those pictures will show and the overall relationship. The game is on to make boooosh an Abramoff victim...and it's already underway.

I'm getting to the point where we have to fight fire w/fire. And that means, for starters, Harry Reid needs to STOP apologizing!

Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 11:16 AM by rocknation
The Washingtonian and Time magazines each reported that their reporters were shown the pictures, apparently by sources linked to Abramoff.

However, WHY do they not have the photos--don't you think they'd be champing at the bit to publish them? Is it because the source is holding out for the highest bidder, or because they've been warned by the Bush empire not to publish them? After all, they got the New York Times to sit on the NSA for a year, and look the other way while Judith Miller propagandized us into war.
