If Hannity goes off the air I'll not have a way to keep my blood pressure up above coma stats. I'll have no one to flip off in the nine o'clock hour. The alternative would be Larry King interviewing someone I thought was dead, or Rita "Gasp" Crosby. Annoying nails on the chalkboard or a nap by 9:15.
Though I only watch H&c a few times a week, and then seldom the whole hour, it's never boring. It's slanted yes, but boring, no. Colmes has been getting a few good shots lately too, and it's not unpleasant to witness. I'd like to see a return of CNN's "Crossfire" in prime time to compete with what Fox has formatted as the "WWF presents the News hour".
I like the "no holds barred" type of show at the end of the news day, though I do understand that it's probably two thirds "political Theater".
Fox lays claim to being #1 in ratings because of it's evening entertainment schedule beginning with O'Reilly and ending with the scandal du Jour with Greta. For hard news, CNN is deservedly #1 in ratings.
