Do they have their machines already hooked up to their teevee? I mean, is there an army of people connected to their teevee ALL THE TIME?

I would imagine at C&L they have more than one person who keeps their computer's affixed to the TV feed and regularly records the usual suspect shows in the event there are clips worth uploading. If there is nothing, just dump the file but if there is something you want to save it's a simple matter to clip it out of the whole piece, compress it to a reasonable size, and upload it to the server. Not that hard really, provided you have the hardware etc for it.

My wife's machine will do this, the card required cost us a couple hundred dollars. We don't keep it hooked up to the TV tuner though. Maybe we should.
