Rockey Vaccarella? Rockey? With an E? Why not Rocco? Who is this guy? Shows up at the White House, gets a meeting with President Chucklenuts to talk about the incredible success of all the rebuilding going on in Nawlins, then walks down the driveway with the monkey for an “impromptu” press conference. Truth is, the Mississippi-Louisiana Gulf Coast area is still a horrendous disaster. Misery, homelessness, joblessness, unspeakable social disruption, human suffering and pain off the scale. And here comes Rockey with an E to assure everyone that, reports to the contrary notwithstanding, the recovery and rebuilding is just wonderful and Chucklenuts should get another term in office. Amazingly, Rockey shows up just in time to shift focus from Spike Lee’s damning documentary of the Bush Crime Family’s utter failure to provide even minimal relief to the people shattered by Katrina. A little P.S. here on Rockey: He’s not just a “little man” from the Gulf Coast. He’s a failed GOP politician who decided to do for Bush what Monica did for Clinton. Rove, you’re a genius.
