She's been helping people tune out for years.

2. She's had a few worthwhile shows, like her report from NOLA

but she also has had GOP shills like Thomas Friedman on far too often when it comes to other National issues. Lately, she's really been getting caught up in "emotional rubbernecking"; the newlywed husband who was killed on a cruise ship, crime victims, the personal angst of the semi-famous, etc. She talks a lot about "doing good" with her programming-and sometimes she does give out some decent information-but increasingly she's been adding to the cultural dreck and fear mongering that's already saturating the airwaves. It's a same.

3. I have ONE reaction when I see her name even

4. In her defense

Bushco begged her to visit Afghanistan to see how wonderful shits and giggles it is there for women now.

She refused.

5. Did she say why she wouldn't go?

I'm sure that the situation for women has improved somewhat since the Taliban has been removed, but the economic hardships are still probably heartbreaking, as well as the constant stress of living in an occupied country. An entirely unbiased report would likely be enlightening for some.

but it's obvious that many more in the MSM have. I've boycotted so many of their sponsors that there's very little that I can buy anymore!
