Thom Hartman: Next Time When You Announce A Guest That You Don't Have
tell your audience that something came up and your guest won't be on the air.

it's not nice to tell us mark crispin miller is going to be on and we listen for three hours before you announce he'll be on next hour

and your final hour is up and you don't even acknowledge to your audience what happened & why your guest wasn't on the show.

it's rude.

5. I would expect he got strung along just like every one else.
He was also working with someone else's production team. If you write him he will probably write back.

2. I did the very same thing for the very same reason...
I tend to agree, it would have been nice to know what happened, if Miller was going to be on and when. Still, I enjoy listening to Hartman so there was a silver lining.

3. If Thom announced MCM would be on then MCM was scheduled to be on...
I trust Thom that much. He should have - as you point out - explain to his listeners if something happened that prevented MCM from being on the show. Mark's schedule? Technical problems?

6. LoL!! The dogs insist on longer walks than can be accomplished
during commercial breaks. I paid for Air America Premium so I could have downloaded the last hour of Randi and listened when I got back, but since MCM wasn't on I won't bother.

I am listening to "The Time Is Now" - a new AAR show that plays on Saturday afternoons. The host is the Reverend from New York's Riverside Church. He is hot & heavy on social justice and GETTING THE PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER to make our world better. I heard the last few minutes of the show this past Saturday and am now listening to the whole show.

I am, like Neil Young, looking for a leader with the Great Spirit on his side.

7. what is air america premium? whenever i miss a show i
check it out either at www.whtierosesociety.org (where ben burch archives a lot of shows including randi's and mike malloy's or i go to her "illegal" archives--that ben has a link to at the bottom of his randi page)

i don't understand the air america premium stuff -- unless you want to hear a show that isn't archived somewhere.

8. Air America Premium is an archive like White Rose -
I pay to access the Hartmann archives at White Rose, but White Rose doesn't archive all of the Air America shows - only Mike, Thom & Randi - so I also donated to AAR to get access to Premium:

AAR Premium
http://www.airamerica.com/premium/

And here is my favortie link for listening to archived weekend shows:
