You'd think that repub bush lovers would grow weary of being punked.
But no, they seem to actually enjoy supporting bush no matter how insane he is. He has repeatedly promised them red meat and given them tofu, yet they still love him and support his every dumbass move.

Is this political masochism? Do they enjoy being used and tossed aside like a cheap plaything? Do they not understand that he has fucked them over on every single issue?

You'd think that they would tire of being constantly screwed, like we have, but no, the pattern seems to be one of an abused wife who thinks her frequent beatings are deserved.

Stupid huh?

1. Not really. I think it's variation of the "Stockholm Syndrome".
They're really victim and they have (in a Freudian sense) identified with their captor-victimizer as a survival technique. They lost their ability to think independently and make their own opinions. They are nothing less than tape recorders playing back whatever Bushco is reciting.

2. nonsense, he's given half a dozen tax breaks to the ultra rich
and most republican rank-and-file are convinced that they will someday be a trust fund baby and desperately need the paris hilton tax break.

6. Actually, they would rather Paris Hilton get that tax break than see one..
person of color get a leg up from poverty. If they are one rung higher than the people that they look down on, they feel happy.

My business partner votes Republican because some kids in the school district get bussing to school from across the highway, while her kid doesn't--even though her home is a short walk away from the school. Meanwhile, the Republicans are pissing away trillions of dollars on wars and corrupt corporate cronies, leaving her child with huge debts--that doesn't bother her.

3. persecution complex....
...the more that is heaped on Bush - and in extension them - the more they are confirmed in their "faith". They just see it as another trial and tribulation.

11. You're right...
Grammar and spelling aren't necessarily indicative of the intellect of the person penning the words, but an intelligent person who is lacking in education would seem more capable of being literate, provided they can write at all. This stream of consciousness drivel shows me a woefully ignorant and potentially disturbed individual.

F***ing ignorant dipshit freeper and then some...

13. oh I don't know
I know plenty of people with college degrees who really struggle to write a decent sentence. I gave one of them this tip just the other day: when you edit something you have written, please realize that a sentence is too long if you HAVE TO TAKE A BREATH TO FINISH IT.

8. They're in denial.
They tend to believe the rosy picture chimp's PR team paints. When something awful happens that is so obvious it can't be ignored, they blame it on someone else - usually Clinton or Dems in general. I've seen it in the online discussion section of the local paper. Some are waking up to reality, but others still have their heads buried deeply in the sand.

12. They're in a cult...
The ones who still support the Chimp are so deeply invested in their cult that they'd follow him over a cliff after drinking the proverbial kool-aid while cutting off their nose to spite their face. "Drinking the kool-aid" became a slang phrase for these poor idiots for a reason...these people are just as committed to The Decider as those brainwashed fools who killed themselves and their loved ones - including their own children in some cases - because Jim Jones told them to.

These are people who live in absolutes, who see only black and white, no grey. They can't hold two opposing ideas or thoughts, they're unable to deal with even the idea of critical thinking. Authority knows best, the stern patriarchical rule is the only way their psyche functions.

Sad, isn't it? Also dangerous, scary, disgusting, unfathomable...insert your own favorite descriptor here. Me - I've never been that trusting. I've never NOT asked questions. It's a totally foreign concept. I was raised to think for myself. That's the real difference between them and everyone else.

15. That's no exaggeration
It really is a cult in the literal sense, faith is the number one factor, faith above all else, blind, blank faith to the bitter end.

possess faith.
