Righteous Indignation
They follow the dictates of their national Party. They call into radio and TV shows. They write letters, expressing their outrage and anger at the "liberals" for not supporting the President and whatever folly, disaster, or crime they may be committing at the time. They never hesitate to remind everyone that "we are at war".

Most of the time, the calls are from some rural area of America where they would never actually fear a "terrorist" attack. But, they fake it anyway. It's as if somewhere in Washington or New York, or behind a golden microphone, someone has hooked up puppet strings to all these people. Their lips move and they express outrage upon command.

To further their political agenda, they demand that everyone surrender the Bill of Rights, wipe their butts on the Constitution, and support the "war on terrorism". Rather than reflect on what is happening and what is best for their country, they call everyone else names. This fake outrage needs to cease.
