Bush launching campaign to answer critics of domestic spying program

President Bush is launching a public relations campaign to answer critics of his domestic spying program.

Next week, he'll visit the headquarters of the ultra-secret National Security Agency. And other top officials will give speeches on the program.

The goal is to convince Americans that the snooping's vital to the war on terror -- and doesn't trample civil liberties.

Congress is set to hold hearings early next month, and spokesman Scott McClellan says the president wants to "educate the American people" ahead of those.

All he does is campaigning...
