This has been the headline on CNN for hours now, talking up the Jill Carroll story. Be afraid, be very afraid. Ohhhhh veddy scarrry.

Wonder why she didn't write up this account right away? I have always felt that the Christian Science Monitor was probably worried shitless about their legal liability had anything happened to her as a freelancer - and they made a big deal of hiring her full time after the episode - etc. - the whole thing just feels a bit snarky...
