Rightwing Nut case D.R.Sally goes after veterans with PTSD

Dissing PTSD veterans has become a lifestyle for Dr. Sally

Dr.Sally is in the roll again with her Replug bull.

In her latest article for American Enterprise Institute "think tank" she uses innuendo and negative buzz words to paint veterans with PTSD as losers,liars or both.

We know that Bush's handpicked Veterans Commission is coming after vets with PTSD. Reason why one out of four coming home from our current war zones have PTSD. Bush and company do not want to have to pay for destroying minds and bodies of our troops. This story you can read at.

If she has no qualifications in this field is to file an ethics complaint with her professional organization.

Doctors are not supposed to go around giving diagnoses and recommending treatment in fields outside of her quals. Highly frowned upon.

She is a certified therapist, but she is in no way a "doctor" of psychology/psychiatry/healthcare, etc.

I don't know exactly where that would fall in ethics violations, as she's certified to offer counseling, etc., but using the "Dr." is clearly intended to imply to listeners that they're listening to someone who spent ten years in school attaining a PhD in something that applies to counseling.

Contrast that with Dr. Phil who, despite being pretty simplistic in his explanations, actually has a PhD in Psychology (U of North Texas, I believe).

Does this mean I can follow their lead and just walk into a hospital, start practicing medicine and suggesting courses of therapy to just anyone?

So this person sits comfily behind her desk and disses soldiers who have undergone God knows what horrors in war...jeeesus...

Typical right wing idea of "supporting troops"-putting some random sticker on the bumper of your SUV, while whining about and trying to gut goverment programs that actually support the troops.
Even if you are worried about govt. waste etc., sheesh what a place to pick to start "cutting expenses"...

I would be ok with some former soldiers getting a "free ride" if thats what it takes to ensure that the bulk of them are taken care of.

This kind of thing makes me so mad-in many years of volunterring at soup kitchens, its just heart-breaking the number of disabled veterans I have come across.
