Whether the OBL is fake or not, the RNC is using it to attack Democrats

What needs to be done, for us, is to formulate our own talking points to answer this back, for our own contacts.

So, my answer: The RNC can only stoop to mean, fear-mongering, bully tactics to try to divert attention away from the fact that Bush hasn't brought Bin Laden to justice.

It seems that the only way something gets on the MSM is to send it to Al Jazeera first. Maybe we on the left should make our own tapes about how we really feel about Bush and the war in Iraq and other things that Arabs don't think Americans are concerned about and submit those tapes to Al Jazeera. Maybe they will play them. It could be a way of getting our side of the story out.

Also, we should sent them tapes of our anti-war protests and other activism. Whadda ya think?

I'm thinking that only one side of our story is getting out to the rest of the world and that's the one that CNN, MSNBC and FOX are sending out. I'm thinking it's time for amateur hour. I think Al Jazeera might welcome a different point of view. The CBC airs much of our dissident POV's but no one pays attention to them.

I think the Reich would pay attention to Al Jazeera and so would the rest of the world. HOO BOY! It's just a crazy idea though. It would take some daring and a lot of thought to keep the perpetrators out of the range of our homegrown gestapo.

I have to say, until some Democrats forcefully rebuke this, they're going to pay. I'll keep hammering this point home--the Repubs are acting like the tough Dads, and the Dems are acting like the weenie Dads. We need to act like the tough, but smart, and sensible Dads. That is what motivates people to vote. Fear and money. I think 95% of policy discussion is irrelevant to most voters.

Dean needs to clean house amongst Democratic advisors. They haven't got a clue how to talk to real people. Not a clue.

because the real issue is that, either way, Republicans are using it to smear Democrats and anyone that has a view counter to Bushworld. And that has to be addressed.

Whether I or you or anyone else here believes that the tape is fake, a whole lot of Americans who don't necessarily fall into the right-wing category believe that it's real. And talking to them about whether it's fake or not obscures a real opportunity to point out what the RNC is doing.

The image on the far right is the guy who confessed on tape, the rest are the Osama we all know.
Look at the length of the nose. Specifically the distance from the nostrils
