But not of OBL's (supposedly verified) threats brought to us via audiotape. Face it, the guy is a ham, and he lives for the camera. If he can't have a large microphone in front and a conspicuous AK-47 in the background, then the production just isn't worth it. Yet, the Al-Jazeera tv network appears to have a drive-thru banking style pneumatic tube delivery system enabled to accept the the latest tape from Osama, sight unseen.

I frankly do not believe that today's tape is a recent capture of Osama's voice, regardless of the same-day announcement of authentication by the CIA (motto: "Nigerian yellowcake, EAT IT!").

I feel much more that, as has happened since 9/11, the Bush administration has made a pathetic attempt to distract the MSM and the public from the latest troubling issue or outrage(s) by changing the terror color code or drumming up a new threat. In the current news cycle, that may include Bush's polls slipping, the confirmation of Samuel Alito, the slam-dunk case against Republicans in the Jack Abramoff scandal ("Greenback Mountain"), or the continuously horrifying sequence of events in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dick Cheney said today that he regarded 'Osama bin Laden's' threat as "a ploy".

Really, Dick, coming from you..

Lets see..out the same morning that Cheney will speak on security...But best of all...OBL..has named all the liberals, the anti war folks, the americans concerned with phone and internet taps, he has parroted the words of John Kerry, others..and exactly, he recommends a book that explains the reasons why others hate us....why...way to timely and perfect...as his good friends, his helpers..he calls on us to continue to side with him...Osama bin Laden..shit...i now completely believe he is dead..and has been dead for a long time...maybe never even lived....and he names the real "traiters" of America...he perfectly sided with Bush...and now Bush...has been proven right yet again. ho hum.
