Front to back that might be the strongest thing the Daily Show has done in a LONG time.

Absolutely savage. I think Colbert has generally outclassed the Daily Show on sheer hard-hitting stuff, but last night TDS showed that it still has sharp fucking claws.

19. I saw it last night

It was a great piece. The truth behind the humor is what has stayed with me. Reminded me a bit of Colbert's performance @ the WH corespondence dinner. The humor was brilliant because in the end it was only a medium to tell a dark, ugly truth.

I hope he got enough laughs to stay around and make another appearance! "The Daily Show" seems to do their auditions during tapings of the show. It seems a fair amount of people make one or two appearances and then we never see them again.

32. I'm gonna chime in here and say:

That was one of the most "in your face" episodes that I have ever seen on TDS.

It pushed so many 'envelopes' and was by far, one of my favorites.

Ironically, the guy from "The Guinness Book" was somewhat drab, but Jon meshed through that interview nicely and quickly.
