Boy am I pissed (medicare partD)

I did't join , as my partner and I have a decent plan with an HMO that they said was at least "as good". Well, when I called to find out what happenend to my last mail order shipment, I was told that we did not quailfy for anything and to call my HMO. HMO unbeknownst to us, had changed all plans to Part D plans and we will be getting our new cards within 3 days(that was Monday) Stil waiting,it is now Jan 19th. I must subtract 1 day, as the mail was not delivered(third world nation post office).This is a great big scam. We are old and sick and now without a drug plan What gives?

but I jsut had a angioplasty and must take a brand name drug for several months and will have to pay well WTF its ok. But the problem willbe getting new scripts endless wait times , extended phone calls to almost braindead operators in both the HMO and mailoreder"ex Part D is the new bush plan that is infuriating seniors all over the country. There are 70 something plans alone for CA. I thought I would be escaping that disater with my CO plan , but no,

with bush's give-away to the pharmaceutical companies. It's the biggest, stupidest program yet. The Cons are always carping about "entitlement programs", well bush created the mother of all EP's here. This thing sucks to high heaven, I haven't heard ONE person say that it's actually working for them. Of course anything connected to bush is destined to fail. It's take a Democrat to bail this thing out and make it workable. In the meantime, I guess we get sick and die.
