So we shouldn't pull out of Iraq because those US Troops
would have died in vain? As heard on the "Majority Reporty" just now. What kind of messed up logic is that? It's a failed mission! It should never have been undertaken in the first place! Let's get out now, before more on both sides die for no logical reason! :wtf: is wrong with these warmongers?

1. The troops completed the mission YEARS ago
They caught Saddam and put to rest the WMD nonsense. Their job is done and has been done for years.

5. WMD was nonsense from the very beginning and getting rid of
Saddam could have been done with out devastating an entire Country. Their "job" was bogus from the beginning!

11. I completely agree with you on that
I'm just trying to figure out what new "job" the admin is going to pull out of their collective butts in order to justify this nonsense. It's crazy.

17. Lets assume that the war would have been over
in 2004 (before the election)..What the hell issue would * have run his campaign on..the same goes .....This Iraq war issue is their political cornerstone ,so dont expect any troop pull out until the Democrats do it in 2008....unless of course the Democratic Majority can somehow force the pullout after November...

2. So how many more have to die for a worthless cause?
The logic to the died in vain statement just blows my mind, it falls in the same category as we only want a sustainable peace in the mid east.
:wtf:

4. we went there based on a lie
Our Secretary of Defense is incapable of presenting an accurate report on the situation, thousands
of Iraqis are dying, there is no order, no peace only violence and we should stay because?????
This administration has failed in Iraq, Iraq is now a failed nation state and I believe that
this administration is incapable of succeeding in Iraq so what should we do. Keep adding
blood and treasure down the bloody pit it has become.

10. Some who are unwilling to admit the failed state of our misadventure
are willing for this to go on forever, no matter the cost.

12. of course, think about this
It's win, win for them, oil is up which means more profits for big oil and the energy companies,
war profiteers are doing well with their lucrative contracts, the only losers are the American
taxpayers, soldiers and their families and the people of Iraq. So the elite in this country
is doing well and their puppets have saved them from paying for the costs of the war
by tax break after tax break just for them. It's been a picnic since George "won" in 2000
for the wealthy elite in this country.

15. "Mission Accomplished" I get that, but the kool aid slupers don't!
They still want us in Iraq and they( the chicken hawks) are willing to sacrifice more American Troops to achieve what end? They, the middle class bushbots don't get that. They are willing to pay the ultimate price for **'s war. With their tax dollars and their loved ones! Why can't they get that?

many to waken, and once the Middle East is inflamed against America, then Bush will get the
9-11 Part Two that he desperately wants, it is like She who Must be Obeyed in King Solomon's
Mines but he will step into the limelight and find that it brings about his downfall just as
she did, America has sacrificed much on this quest for security, it will not slumber after
another attack brought about by the actions of these warlords.

7. Soldiers do not die in vain. They die because they are sent to do their
duty by their Commander in Chief. When they die in battle, they die the honorable death of the professional warrior. It is the responsibility of the Commander in Chief to honor and value the lives of his troops and to only send them into battle if absolutely necessary and on missions that serve legitimate purposes for the defense of our country.

I think Bush has embarked on wars of empire and nation building for reasons that he did not disclose to the public and certainly not for the reason (WMD) that he did disclose.

18. Hmmmm.
"Mission Accomplished" was declared on May 1, 2003 - the war was over. We have been OCCUPYING Iraq since then, and the occupation is not going well.
