6. Haven't Republicans noticed that all of Lieberman's staunchest

defenders and supporters are all Republicans? And doesn't this tell them something about his prospects as a, you know, non-Republican?

I mean, I'll occasionally hear a conservative say, "I'd vote Democratic if they nominated someone like Lieberman". It doesn't seem to register that this is because he appeals to them more, and he works herder at appealing to them, in my opinion.
