According to CNN: "Shock and Awe" for Lebanon beginning Nowwwww!
So be prepared when you wake up tomorrow morning for the total cleaning out of Hezbollah and the destruction of the hold outs on the Israeli border.

CNN will probably be covering it with "night vision" cameras. So for you "insomniacs"...enjoy. It's being "set up" like "Iraq War I" where EVERYONE will be watching!

Go Get 'Em CNN! The world awaits the Cleansing. The world has given up on Diplomacy and Peaceful Solutions...we WANT BLOOD.

Let's hope this "Shock and Awe" works better for Israel in it's efforts to clean out the terrorists than it did for Bush & Co.

(I'll be praying for PEACE)

1. Every village bombed....
...a Hezbollah stronghold.

Every person killed...an Hezbollah terrorist.

Freedom is on the march!!

"If we just let our vision of the world go forth, and we embrace it entirely, and we don't try to piece together clever diplomacy but just wage a total war, our children will sing great songs about us years from now."

:hi:

How 'bout this:

Israel has the right to make chicken soup!

Israel has the right to do jumping jacks!

Israel has the right to drink coffee.

Those platitudes mean just about as much. :D

23. Like New Orleans (they were WARNED) why didn't they just LEAVE?
what's WRONG with these people that they stay in these villages controlled by Terrorists...why didn't they JUST LEAVE? They were leafleted by Israel in Arabic Language to "GET OUT...YOU WILL BE BOMBED."

Can these IDIOTS NOT READ? Do they not have help ...where are the "Family Values" in Lebanon that their Families COULD NOT GET THEM OUT.... I can't understand how EVERYONE DIDN'T GET OUT! THEY WERE GIVEN "MORE THAN ENOUGH" WARNINGS.

(I'm PRAYING FOR PEACE...I'm getting on my knees because it's the only hope I have left for SANITY!!!!! in THIS MONSTROUS STUFF GOING ON!!!)

Peace to all of you who are suffering, too.. If we can't have a Goal of Peace what's left to us? ANARCHY? YEARS OF ENDLESS WAR?

5. Ben-Gurion edict...
Former Israel Prime Minster, Yitzhak Rabin, said in an uncensored version of his memoirs, published in the New York Times on 23 October 23rd, 1979:

'We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question - What is to be done with the Palestinian population?' Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said "Drive them out!"'

17. You mean "Litani River" filled with blood...pix and EVERYTHING....
Maybe a few UN Convoy's will be blown up, too. It should be the biggest VIDEO GAME in HUMAN HISTORY! New Deliveries of "Q" Rummies latest "star wars/Bond" weapons have been sent. "Bunker Bushers" and maybe even that "Laser Melt" thingy...we are so proud of as the Bestest and Newest.

Can't wait to see how the stocks rise for those invested in the Rummy Wars. "Skeletor in his Silk Suit" is just waiting for the "Capitalist Adventures" for WAR that he's worked so long putting in place to FINALLY PAY OFF!

Same with Cheney! Halliburton with the "Ambulances to the RESCUE...to RE-BUILD..what WE and our Allies have "IMPLODED!" Maybe some new "WalMarts" other "shopping centers and "multi-use" condo's for people or businesses to verify that George II is an ENTREPRENUER!

OMG...Business Community is salivating in anticipation as their fangs drip with the blood of innocents killed.

WAR IS GOOD...ECONOMY IS STRONGER...WAR IS GOOD...IT MAKES PEOPLE THINK...WAR IS GOOD...IT PROVIDES JOBS....WAR IS GOOD...it CLENSIS us of "VERMIN!" ALL IS GOOD WHEN WAR IS THERE...ALL IS GOOD and NO LOOKING BACK...WAR IS GOOD it UNITES US...WAR IS REALLY GOOD!

9. All those of us who really did believe (not like St. Ronnie/actor) for
"Shining Light on the Hill" are getting pretty discouraged these days. Even the United Nations we were taught in school would be a New Beacon of HOPE for the WORLD TO SETTLE DISPUTES...is brought down by our own domination. They are reduced to some sort of weak "Think Tank" where nations go ...but the FIX IS IN. :-( It's so dreadful  It's so dreadful....

12. you are behind as it has changed radically, here is a brief update
Israel said it would stop bombing the south of Lebanon for 48 hours, and figure out a 24 hour period for civilians to leave (somehow). BUT they reserved the right to bomb if they thought it was necessary. Since then, they have called up (15,000?) reserves, gone over the border into Lebanon to clear out Hezbullah strongholds, and paratroopers have dropped/helicopters have landed near the Syrian border about 1/2 way up Lebanon.

Here are a few links and maps to catch you up to date. They are expanding war towards the ceasefire on the horizon.

Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 07:33 PM by KoKo01
changes to "no fire above" Southern Lebanon Border...then it goes to "Strategic Sites for bombing" and then it changes to Israel has decided to Resume Heavy Bombing and then it's Isreael gave time for evacuees to get out of the towns they've given warning to bomb...and then it's "CUT TO" UN who says they couldn't get relief into the towns Israel has given warning to folks to evacuate...and then it's CUT to the Ambassadors.....

MY HEAD SPINS! Was there a Cease Fire, Limited Cease Fire or was it Strategic Bombing? How were the folks on the Israel border who were old, with disabilities or kids or women to get OUT? And, what if you didn't have any HELP getting you out (needed wheelchair, I.V, Oxygen or were so weak are helpless that you just didn't have the ability to do it?)

New Orleans? Those folks in Nursing Homes or Elderly who just were "TOO ALONE" and couldn't read the flyers or hear the announcements to get out?

Reports that some in Lebanon who had been in Shelters for Five Days...Elderly without food or water who couldn't get transportation started WALKING! WALKING!!!

Didn't folks in New Orleans start walking and ended up starving on a Bridge because it was closed (while CNN reported it?) or SHOT in Gretna because they didn't "want no disrupters?" Just because folks (already under sress) thought they were going to come and "take something from their own refugees?"

When will this MADNESS STOP? WHEN?

28. I heard reports that were "all over the place" from both MSNBC/CNN!
It was like they couldn't get their stories straight. If you had the "fortitude" to keep watching it seemed that Israel offered a "false promise" of "maybe" a cease of hostilities for 48 hours to give Condi something to bring home and the Media to report on...but when "pressed" the reporters on the ground in Lebanon kept saying they heard bombs all day but they thought it was just in "areas where Israeli's were giving their ground troops cover."

Then...later on in the reports they would cut to the UN CARAVANS with Relief Supplies and say that many couldn't get the "proper clearance from Israel to go through" so they were stuck but others had used the "Cease Fire and managed to get some Relief Aid to those coming out of the towns that are targeted as Hezbollah Strongholds."

The reports were totally confusing and the "on the ground reporters" when asked would divulge more if they were "pressed."

It sounds like a DISASTER with no one knowing WHAT THE REAL SIGNALS ARE from Israel... so they are afraid of violating a "cease fire...or slow down in "hostilities" but everyone needs to MOVE OUT and others need to get AID IN!"

No one seems to know what the hell is going on???

11. The inevitable end of this will be a reversion to terrorism. And lots of
it.

This isn't going to destroy Hezballah, it will just convert it back from a stable "state within a state" to a terrorist organization -- but, one that's much larger with fresh recruits, and likely much more dangerous than what Israel faced before it was forced to withdraw from Lebanon the first time in May, 2000.

It's going to be bloodbath on both sides.

24. WE MUST SUMMON OUR STRENGTH and PRAY or WILL it ALL TO STOP!
If it doesn't stop...and there are no "Formal Institutions" left to help us like the UN...then at some point it will go...to the STREETS.

Please! Let it STOP...let cooler heads prevail...we are "down to the wire here" but there MUST BE SOMEONE?

If not..then we pray and "re-group" with what we know.....

a prayer to a "higher good" I couldn't go on...and wouldn't be here. I would be out with the "Greedy, Pillaging."

There's a place for "Faith and Hope...to a Higher Good." And, maybe it isn't a GOD of anyone...but a Moral Binding that holds civilzation together against DEPRAVITY and KILLING EVIL.

So..I do pray...and I do hope for us all working for a "Common Good" and that's all we can hope for given what we are up agains....:-(

But, it still throughout civilization does win...for a time. The tide WILL TURN if we ARE COMMITTED to work against "Man's (and these days...womens)inhumanity to their fellow planet dwellers." That's just the way I see it....
