Yankee, please GO HOME.
Really America, give up being the world's police, give up pretending to be Rome, retreat from your bases all over the world and stay out of the affairs of other nations that pose no threat to you.

Retreat inward America, clean up your own back yard first, feed the hungry, give aid to the sick and needy, make jobs not war.

Pack it up and stay out of other people's business, use our military for our own good, and stop selling arms to the world and profiting from war.

You ain't the boss of me America, you are just another nation on the globe, no better than any other. Try some humility, try some tenderness, try some diplomacy.

Do whatever you want America, just please go home.

1. Infrastructure-wise, the UN is far better equipped to handle that stuff.
If we actually made a committment to making the UN *the* central agency to work for peace and to end suffering, we could see the world improve in our lifetimes.

4. yes
i clearly feel that an organization that once put LIBYA in charge of the Human Right Commission is clearly *the* central agency that works to for peace and an end to suffering

5. Why do you feel they did that?
Do you think they maybe felt the USA was an even worse choice? How did it work out anyway? Is Libya being accused of Human Rights abuse or is America?

2. So, Wait...The Rest of The World Is Angry With Us?
My God, someone should tell the President that he's pissing the world off, then he would surely stop his belligerent foreign policy! Right?

Sigh.

Unfortunately, America is the fastest, baddest, biggest hotrod out on the universal strip of life, and George Bush is the dickish punk who is giving her a whirl right now. Scaring every other reasonable driver as he takes it for a cruise (missile).

The only way this situation is going to get better is if he is removed from the driver's seat or if America's wheels are shot out.

8. Rather, "Confederate, please GO HOME"
Gosh there is a wide range between criminal unilateralism and isolationism, and
hopefully we can shift back towards cooperative multilateralism to sort problems
that will otherwise kill off the human race.

We want the slave masters to go home, back to mythical dixie where they can
sing the blues but war no more... no more plantation neoliberal slime.

9. Funny, people say that until they want help
then it's "America is so selfish for not providing money, people, soldiers, etc"

10. Funny
people are asking America for aid (something other countries provide, oftentimes in higher relative quantity than the US), not for invasions and imperialism. America seems to be quite generous with the latter while the former is neglected.
