How about this....
Edited on Mon Jul-31-06 10:15 AM by badgerpup
We've been nine-elevened to the point where for most of us it's no longer a call to arms, but a sick joke.
For some, however, and I'm not talking about those who lost loved ones or survived it personally, the current occupant of the Oval Office spouting off about "9/11! 9/11! 9/11!" still pushes buttons that activate the rightwing neo-con talking points.

There's been a lot of discussion lately about some of the terrible carnage and the graphic pictures of it that don't get shown to the American public because 'coffins give the wrong message about this war'.
Do you suppose, if the pictures were actually shown on MSNBC, CSPAN and some of the more reputable stations with the assurance that:

"This is what we've done to Iraq, folks!
There's (fill in the number here) of civilians, innocent women and children killed!!
That's more of them than there were of us on 9/11, and we've fucked up their infrastructure but good!
We've gotten even for 9/11 and then some...never mind that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 in the first place.

So...is it victory yet?"

edited because I forgot that preview is my friend...
