Neocons are taking history lessons...
IDEOLOGY, PERCEPTION, AND GENOCIDE:
How Fantasy Generates History

by Richard Koenigsberg

http://www.ideologiesofwar.com/papers/rk_ipg.htm

If you substitute Neocons including all conservative pundits like Hannity,Cream pie Coulter, Savage, Limbaugh and the religious rightwing zeolots for the words Nazi and sustitute the word liberal for Jew, you'll find this article is amazing similar to what is going on in the US today!! IMHO!! Anyone one see this similarity??

I theorize that ideologies constitute modus operandi for the expression of shared fantasies. Nazi(neocon) ideology was like a dream or fantasy that many people were having at the same time. The shared fantasy was powerful enough to give rise to a social movement and to shape the course of history. Hitler(AWOLBUSH) was deeply plugged into the Nazi(neocon) fantasy and had the skill or capacity to convey this fantasy to the German(American) people. In order to know why Nazism(neoconism) achieved such popularity, we must determine what it was that Hitler(AWOLBUSH) said that excited the German(American) people, causing them to rise to their feet and to shout "Heil Hitler.(Bush is great)"

A fundamental source of Hitler's(neocon) success as a "charismatic leader" was the nature of the ideas he put forth and his capacity to transmit these ideas in words that conveyed the meaning that he intended. Hitler(AWOLBUSH) expressed himself through his body and its gestures. However, Hitler(AWOLBUSH) also conveyed his messages through the medium of specific words, phrases, metaphors and images. The ideas he expressed and words he used struck a chord within the German(American) people. They resonated with the fantasy that he set forth. Hitler(AWOLBUSH) was saying something that was deeply meaningful to many Germans(AMericans).

"See in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda."

"If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." —Washington, D.C., Dec. 19, 2000

I'm the commander — see, I don't need to explain — I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president." —as quoted in Bob Woodward's Bush at War
