Jesus Loves the Little Children
Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

This little song says it all. How can we watch as the innocent children are killed in our name? How can the Christians in the United States allow such terror to be brought upon the innocent? Forget that. How can anyone watch what is happening in the ME and not realize that the blood of these children is on our hands? Where is the outcry to stop this insanity? How can so many ignore what is happening? How do we sleep?

6. If there was a Jesus, there would not be much he could be doing.
It's not his fault, it's the flawed beliefs in him that are the problem.

All of the violence and hatred are caused by the flawed beliefs in a deity. At least that's my opinion.

8. there is much that is being
done- by those who use his name to further their own personal agendas.

There are people who embrace the teachings of Jesus, who DO attempt to live their lives based on caring for others ahead of self, giving to those who the world rejects, helping in ways that rarely are seen, or publicized.... but sadly, the loudest voices- the ones who wave his banner, often see that as 'serving him'- and instead serve themselves.

If people truly lived as Jesus asked, there would be peace, and abundant life for everyone on earth-

Dreaming..... that the world could live as one- with nothing to kill or die for- and no religion- no dogma- no empty words- just one world together

I don't care what they say I can't live in a world without love...

the Beatles were prophets...

4. and we are ALL children
underneath the facade.

The outcry is here- and I'm not sleeping... what can we do??? please tell me... what can I do to stop this madness????- the impotence of our voices, votes, e-mails, letters, phone-calls, vigils, protests, donations is driving me to despair.... what CAN we do?????

5. K&R,
This is the true heart of Christianity. Let no conservative claim to represent Christ.

7. beyond that, let no person
claim to ACT for Christ-
Let his teaching motivate us to DO GOOD- overcome 'evil' with good. To give freely to anyone who asks, and to refrain from passing along violence- To treat each other as if we WERE 'the other'-

People 'claim' Christ, as if the 'claim' can hide the actions that deny him- but no one is being fooled. No one at all.

WE need to live the talk.- walk the walk, even when it costs us. Especially when it costs us.
