Just how "mean and nasty" do the Democrats need to get?

I just read that Hillary and Schumer were going to vote for John Bolton? Why? He's not qualified. He's the worst person to have in that position at this time. He can only make things worse. So why do they plan to vote for him?

Well, they say, the President has the right to pick whomever he wants. Bullshit! Bull fucking shit! He can't pick an Al Capone or a John Gotti-type. Why do they say such nonsense?

How much longer can "our side" continue to bend over and take it? How much longer can they continue to appease these criminals now in charge of our government? How much longer can we continue to support them?

The perception that Dems won't even engage in verbal sparring guides part of the electorate into believing they are too weak, even on terrorism. It's only a perception, but some of the voters are like this. They want "tough" candidates.

6. I don't know if this is true or not, but on the WJ this AM,

someone said there are several Jewish groups from NY are putting a lot of pressure on Hillary & Chuck to vote for the Bolton confirmation. I know both have a lot of jewish constituents in NY, and if most of them are screaming in favor of Bolton, that may answer your question of why.

Bill Clinton was very effective in political attacks precisely because he never appeared mean or nasty. If you had the sound off, you would have no idea he was even going negative.

doing all of his dirty work. And that's as it should be. But don't make the mistake of being too naiive to think that a clean campaign will win you an election. You have to hit hard, hit often and twist the truth about your opponent, so that you characterize them in the public's mind just how you want them to be characterized. You don't want your opponent to be able to characterize himself.

And attack dogs are certainly necessary, but the candidate himself should never be perceived as one. That's what I think got Dean in trouble.

Or are the majority of Americans turned off by "mean and nasty"? Personally, I think there is a fine line between being seen as mean and nasty and being aggressive and willing to defend your position.
