"Democrats and Liberals are Evil"
Edited on Wed Jul-26-06 09:26 PM by truthpusher
It has been established by the right wing of the Christian Empire... that we as Liberals are Guilty of things both Evil and Godless...

This a short list of 'Evils' that have been popularly attributed to Liberals and Democrats:

- Liberals are Pro-Abortion (in truth: We believe in protecting the rights of the poor and the unrepresented)

- Liberals want Gay Marriage (in truth: We demand equality for all)

- Liberals do not support war and killing, even against terrorists (in truth: We truly and deeply have a desire for less suffering in the world)

- Liberals are for Open and free speech, including what may be considered offensive and ugly (in truth: We believe that we all have a voice, we all deserve to be heard and we all can decide that for ourselves)

- Liberals want to take God away from us through the separation of Church and State (in truth: We believe in protecting our right to believe in God, a God of our own choice; and also keeping that open dialog on spirituality separate from the hand of potential corruption)

....

In truth what are we really guilty of?

....

We are guilty of being like Christ.

....

....

a long, long time ago somebody said "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind... Love your neighbor as yourself...."

Sounds like the words of a Liberal...sounds like the words of a (true) Democrat.

oh well :evilfrown:

2. We should be asking why the Right hates so many Americans....
They're always talking about how we hate America. Well, they hate well over half the American people who don't believe what they do.

Why does no one ever ask Ann Coulter why she hates so many American people?

4. Am I evil? Yes, I am.
Actually, I reject the Aristotelean essentialism inherent in the question. I may sometimes act, think or appear evil, but it is hardly a defining quality, especially given the arbitrary and relative meaning of the word. I can't speak for other liberals, but I'm relatively certain the same applies to them. And to Metallica.

5. Guilty of freedom of thought, the right to imagine, the desire to make
things better for everyone, and the belief that diversity makes us stronger and better (not to mention more fun).
