Hallo admin, Skinner or maybe his personal secretary?
I'm not sure where to put this query at this point. Would somebody please acknowledge my PM about a donation? I thought you guys wanted money! If not, I'll cancel my Amazon order.

8. again. dear god. When I was a child, I dreamed I was in Beirut. I'm
telling you: I WAS there. It was the most realistic dream I've ever had. I'm 43 now, I'd have to do some research but I bet it was around the time of the hostages in Iran. I must have seen a photo like that on TV. I was running and hiding around blown up apartment buildings just like those. It was so realistic. everything was the color of burnt sand. Rubble. It was hard to find four walls to hide behind. I remember like it was yesterday, really. oh god.

10. that's very powerful -- I actually used to have similar dreams when I was
younger -- maybe there was some connection between them and pictures like this, too. I never thought of that before.

sorry, I feel rather as if I had opened an old wound for you. But I do know how you feel, I think.

and continue to be. the empathy has always been there so strong. now that I can handle it, it is something I suppose I can claim and be proud of, instead of seeing it as a handicap or curse. it is where my ethics and humanity come from.

The awe in my statements comes from the idea of what people in war torn countries are feeling now. I remembered that I had felt it so strongly in that dream. I was amazed at how real that could be. I think it is a good thing to stay in touch with such awareness.

13. I think so, too
Empathy is a very valuable and important human reaction to such pictures, for most people. There was a very moving show on FX tonight, about a Minuteman who lived with a family of undocumented immigrants for a month. Although he had a lot of stupid ideas, he really could not resist bonding with them -- nor they, with him. If only that could be done on a global scale!

11. okee dokee
but all I had to do last time was PM Skinner with the Order #, and I find the lack of response from anyone somewhat baffling.
