As long as there is an accepted practice of killing lesser animals, there will always be acceptance to killing equals. We humans are a brutal lot and have become all to callus in our acceptance of what is acceptable. I can't count the number of posts I've read calling for peace in many of the troubled spots around the globe. But how can there ever be peace between those that threaten us when we don't have a clue how to have peace with those that do not.

So I challenge you to watch this 13min video.. not as much for what is happening to the animals (which is horrific)... but more for what it says about us as a species for letting this happen. No wonder the world is going to hell in a hand basket... we have indeed lost our way when this kind of "accepted" slaughter is considered "normal".

1. I can't watch it
But I've long said that anyone who could hurt or kill a defenseless animal is more than capable of cruelty towards and murder of fellow humans. Remember Bush** used to blow up frogs with firecrackers for fun. Nuff said.

2. i want to watch but cannot
especially before bed.

i agree with you. cursed with way too much empathy, i am unable to step on ferns in the forest or kill bugs and spiders that come into the house, and cannot comprehend the ability to end an animal's life.

we are all one. follow the greater good and cause no harm

4. We know it's wrong but have no recourse to fix it. Do we? If so, how? nt

5. Sure there is recourse. Don't participate and pass the word.
Like I said, change starts at home not with others... not buying the products these death barons peddle is the first step. If your already doing that, then pass the word and share the video. This kind of footage is very hard to obtain due to the security around these places. There is an old saying... "If slaughterhouses had windows, everyone would be vegetarian". Now you know why.
