My prediction for August 22
Just to add more fuel to the fire, I predict that on August 22nd Iran will complete their first test blast of their nuclear weapons program.

Proving they have the capacity, and announcing they have multiple additional warheads ready, will pretty much prevent any military excursion against them.

I guess we just have to wait it out and see.

That is they day they have announced they will "respond" to the proposal to end their nuclear research.

4. I think the Muslims use a different calendar
Is Armaggedon going to happen on the Christian schedule or the Islamic schedule? That will tell us whose side God is really on.

7. They want to emulate Kim Jong-Il, whom Bush is probably afraid to attack
A state is one thing to deal with, but a state armed with nuclear weapons is a new ballgame.

10. If we are to listen to the intelligence guys, they say a decade or so.
It took Kim Jong-Il most of the 1990s to learn how to enrich uranium to stockpiling that enriched uranium to designing plans for atomic bombs to use that enriched uranium. The last stage is easy nowadays. Beginner's prefer the simple gun-type nuclear device, while nations with more advanced capabilities will use the more efficient implosion-type nuclear device. For a few cents more, you can add streamers to your bombs.

11. I agree with you
I think Iran may already have nukes, or will have them by the 22nd. Either from North Korea, or from Russia/the Russian black market. My money is on the latter, who could easily afford to "misplace" a few nukes in exchange for very beneficial oil and gas contracts.
