He used to be my Congresscritter when I lived in Florida. He's nobody's fool, but I gotta admit, I turned the channel when Colbert asked about the prostitutes.

3. I got a phone call just as he was being announced
so I didn't know who he was. Its funny....when you don't know beforehand what party they are in, its not as easy to overlook their shortcomings. I really cant believe some of these people cant or wont see through these kinds of interviews. Yes, I am fully aware that its a comedy show....I love Colbert. What does bother me as a progressive, is that Stephen doesn't care whether he crucifies a Democrat or a Republican, they are all fair game. Don't get me wrong, as I said, I love Colbert, but he makes some good Democrats look really, really stupid.
