I don't enough about her actions from that still photo to disagree or agree. That's why I asked you why you said you respected her. I didn't know if that meant you knew who she was, and she had done some great things in her life, I didn't know if she had said something that spoke truth to power before this photo, I didn't know if you respected her because she allowed herself to be touched by the president, I didn't know if you respected her for attending at all and sitting through the speech....

there are a lot of possibilities. "I respect her" does not pin down any of those possibilities for me enough to understand your post.
