The groping chimp's veto makes no sense unless he and his religously psychotic followers plan to rescue all of those blastocysts from the trash and do the procedures to turn them into "snowflake" babies.

I'm sure that they have a plan, and the fundies are lining up to bear these children, but I must have missed it in the news cycle.
