Bush on CNN: I vetoed the Stem Cell bill.
Got a standing ovation for it. Also bragging about how much his administration has done for stem cell research.
Bush: "Each embryo is a valuable human life."

George Carlin: "Republicans want live babies so they can have dead soldiers."

11. He's got a crowd of families who had babys
from frozen embryos around him. You know, to push the propaganda.

15. May every member of these "snowflake" families develop
the conditions that may have been cured by stem cell research.

6. I usually don't like to wish ill on people
but I really, really hope that he or one of his family members is soon in need of what he just vetoed. This worthless pig and waste of a human being will never "get it" until he can experience it firsthand.

9. Bush is in favor of throwing unused embryos in trash
instead of using them to help the living. Bush = Pro-trash If he really values life he should promote adoption of all of the unused embryos at least then he would be consistent and stupid instead of inconsistent and stupid.

10. Evidence suggests most Americans disagree with him.
Has there been a poll that shows otherwise? This decision isn't going to help him or Repubs in 06 IMO.

16. Haven't seen a poll but some Repugs who voted for this bill
include Frist, Lott, McCain, and Hatch. Bush is going against his own party as well.

18. But these more vulnerable Repubs voted against it
Allen (R-VA)
Burns (R-MT)
DeWine (R-OH)
Kyl (R-AZ)
Santorum (R-PA)
Talent (R-MO)

Chances are a majority of voters in these states support stem cell research. Hopefully they recogize that GOP = anti-SC research.

17. The irony of Bush's veto is
stem cells might be able to help provide insights to the causes, treatments and possibly even cures for

DEMENTIA.
