CO is working on raising the minimum wage from $5.15 to $6.85. They are paying an hourly to the canvassers and you must go to where they send you. As of today they still DO NOT have enough signatures to get it on the ballot and deadline is 8/7 to the state. IF they had done what everyone did/does pay us PER SIGNATURE it would gave gotten done like all the rest did. It is damn hard work, I am out ther in 20 degree weather and 100 degress weather. I FUCKEN work hard, but we get it done. GOOD Petitioners are very rare. We know how to get people to stop and we can get them to understand the issue in less than 15 seconds. Few can do it. ALL that money they collected from donors and paid the fucken canvassers per hour is flushed down the toilet because of imcompetance of the non profits....BTW, the same is true of domestic partnerships. I talked to them 4X. I am straight, I wanted to help but I had to work their hours, they location for $8-10/hour. I won't do it. Soooooooooooo again we lose. I give up!

Don't even talk to me about the canvasser from the DNC. NOW that was embarrassing.

VENT OVER!

Now if the DUer that wanted ONLY volunteers to do this has the courage to check in....I'd love to hear what NOW has to say!
