5. I didn't take notes but the gist is, Wilson says there's a good chance law

suit will be accepted in court. (BTW, this runs contrary to repuke spin that case will never be accepted). That is step one.

Also, we know from GJ testimony that Plame's name and identity were leaked by Cheney, Rove, Libby. Question about Novak's role in publishing name although told by CIA not to do that. Joe says we hope to find out more in discovery as to whether Novak was right in on the plan to "get" Wilson or whether he was a shill bystander (my words, not Wilson's). Also, Joe says Cheney et al. say they just wanted to get all info out to the people about the Wilsons and their "junket." Wilson SLAMMED this disingenuous piece of shit lie, saying they ostensibly never got the truth out to the pRes about the Niger uranium claim before his "16 words" speech. So if BushCo is so interested in the truth, why didn't they get THAT truth out?

Also, Wilson said there have been threats to the Wilsons, he believes from the fact that Valerie was outed. Wilson was informed about these threats by the CIA and he didn't want to elaborate but said they go beyond the usual right-wing Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh type threat. (Joe actually said this, nearly word for word).

4. What A Great Speaker...
He comes across so eloquent. He has no problem talking off the top of his head, without notes. You could tell he felt strongly what he was talking about, and didn't mince words.

He called the words put into the State Of The Union, "Crap," and discussed the smear campaign against him and his wife. He mentioned that they have received significant "death threats" that were reported to him by CIA and other authorities, so he knew they were legitimate. As he said it, "more than just right-wing limbaugh fans."

I didn't learn much from the interview, that I couldn't have already guessed, but he is a very intelligent man, and I can't imagine why there isn't outrage about the attacks he and his wife have sustained.

8. I thought so too
Joe Wilson looked exhausted, but still stoically battling on. They must be getting so tired of fighting, fighting, just for a shred of justice. Even, so, he did a stellar job of answering Keith's questions.

The Wilsons really are fighting for all of us, for the hope of returning this country to a place where integrity is required of leaders.

7. Novak said he thinks it's terrible the CIA sent Wilson to Niger, stating
or implying Wilson wasn't qualified to go on such a mission.

In fact, he had impeccable credentials for the mission. check this out:

http://www.wilsonsupport.org/

Ambassador Wilson was a member of the Foreign Service from 1976 through 1998. He was the acting Ambassador to Baghdad when Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 and is credited with negotiating the release of several hundred American hostages during “Desert Shield.” Mr. Wilson later served as U.S. Ambassador to Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe under President George H.W. Bush and helped direct Africa policy for the National Security Council under President Bill Clinton. In February 2002, he investigated reports of Iraq’s attempt to buy uranium from Niger.
