Poll question: If there is no filibuster, I will officially LEAVE...
Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 03:33 PM by arnheim
In light of all of the gauntlets that have been thrown around lately, I just thought that I'd try to get an official "leave" count. Personally, I'm thinking about the bag of poo for Joe.

1. yes, because splitting apart will SURELY stop future Scalitos...
...from being nominated.

Awesome idea! MUCH better than trying to actually win a presidential race.

33. Yes - he did. At last year's SOTU, I believe
He was walking in and Lieberman was standing to the side. He walked over and gave him a kiss, mafia godfather style. It sealed my dislike and distrust of Lieberman right then and there.

Joe is a "made man."

Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 03:22 PM by Strawman
Like the Xtian right did with the Republicans.

Beats wasting 20 years trying just to get on the ballot.

Wanna leave? Wank away. Hope it feels good because that's about what it amounts to.

19. Because this system is a two-party system...
means that any other party I support will virtually have no chance of becoming elected and addressing my three main issues: universal health care, campaign finance reform and education reform. I'd rather cull the Democracy Party than sit it out and watch the repukes storm in. True, I am upset about the Alito filibuster but where else am I going to go???

We are not in a good place, are we? That's why we have to stay and fight, IMHO.

27. I will not donate to the democratic party

I will support progressive canidate's who run in the democratic party, but I will never just write a check to the dems.

I will stay in the democratic party but I will not have any alligiance to any democrat. I will stay so I can work to change the party from within.

I will work to change the party.

I have no qualms about voting against pro-war, "pro-life", pandering Dems who vote for Republican bills and support Republican causes.

They are the ones that are leaving the party by going along with the Republicans. I will never leave, never ever ever!!! They will have to personally kick me out, before I leave.

31. I'm right there with you, DemGirl7!
We should ask them to leave. Why should we leave OUR party when they are the ones who have betrayed the very ideals that we stand for and support?

Leave? I don't think so!
