Now I know most of us are feeling warm and fuzzy towards Lou Dobbs these days, but someone here at DU, all too insightfully offered in a post the other day what I think may be spot on.

Could it be that Mr. "Democracy's in Danger" Dobbs is potentially setting Americans up for an eleventh inning 'steal' if you will, whereby Democrats who are poised to smoke the Republicans in Congressional races in November, will be ruthlessly accused of cheating and ALL OF A SUDDEN THE REPUBLICANS WILL REACT TO THE DEMOCRATIC SWEEP BY SHREIKING ELECTRONIC VOTING FRAUD!! ELECTRONIC VOTING FRAUD!!!

Whoever posted this 'vision' is obviously a good study of how Republicans/Neocons set us up and then yank the rug out from under Americans. Don't know how long its going to take Americans. Maybe more bruised behinds from the yanked rug than they anticipated, but people need to begin thinking like these right winged media strategists work. It seems it's their job as a white privileged males to keep things the same, certainly the same for them, even if they have to cheat.

Those are my thoughts. What do you think? Do you think this sacred defense for Democracy by Lou Dobbs is legitimate and heartfelt, or is it questionable, or another joke being played on Americans/Democrats at large?

Interesting note....he once featured an American company stating that all products were American made by Americans. However, my aunt worked for that company and all of the employees of dubious citizenship work the overnight shift. Nice investigating Lou...:eyes:

3. You said exactly what I was thinking....

A few days ago, I was pondering about the recent media attention to election fraud.

Many have been crowing about it for years. It's been blatantly obvious, since 00--and especially 04--that something is rotten in Diebold Denmark.

Sooooo...why now? Why are more media outlets doing stories on voter fraud? Then I thought...the Republicans know that they're frickin toast this November. Every polls indicates that the Dems will sweep up this November. They're driving all of these "election fraud" stories now, so they can sweep in and claim election fraud in Nov.

That's what I'm thinking.

Remember, prior to 04--when there were these little stories about voter fraud, on the part of Democrats. Supposedly, some group had illegally registered voters who had died, etc. This seemed like a planted story then, and I'll bet it was totally manufactured so, at the completion of the 04 theft, the Reps could say, "Look, all elections have irregularities and some fraud. Look at the Dems who tried to register dead people."

So I say....look for the pre-06 election stories that implicate Dems in voter fraud. They're realizing that they can't win it. They know that it's going to be so many landslides, that there's no way they can steal it this time. So...they'll try to make the election illegitimate--starting now with a propaganda campaign.

Who knows...but I wouldn't put it past the evil leech neoconsters.

Kennedy could be a part of it. Also, BushCo has really fallen out of favor with so many. Junior's polls are shameful and heading straight for the teens. Maybe the media is just not as willing to kow tow to these thugs.

and am hoping there it is a genuine effort to be truthful and informative.

9. Lou Dobbs is a person of very profound moral convictions, really

He is a Catholic, OPUS DEI, mind you, who quit CNN when one of his bosses started making faith-based jokes about him. He went through the whole complaint process, too. Then he geared up to sue, they settled, they gave him his job back, other terms were not disclosed (but he talks about whatever HE wants to, nowadays).

I don't agree with all his positions, but I do believe that his opinions come from himself. Not from the White House. I really think he's in a financial position to just quit rather than be forced to say stuff he can't get behind...

13. I swear it's true. He has very high moral standards. Like I said,

my belief system and his don't jive on many, many issues, but he is sincere and steadfast. He's not gonna roll over on his firmly held beliefs for political purposes. He'll never think outsourcing and broken borders are good, he'll never be pro-choice, he will always be pro-gun, and if he's pissed at voting machines, he'll stay pissed until they are fixed or replaced with paper ballots.
