43. Perhaps I spoke too soon.
I know that David was livid with the Dallas Observer, a liberal periodical, a few weeks ago becasue it basically dismissed the candidacy of most democrats in Texas as if they had no chance to succeed. I also was under the impression that he wasn't being helped that much by the TDP. But it looks like I was wrong. That is good mistake to make. :) http://www.txdemocrats.org/yourtexasdemocrats/candidates/statewides

18. What a Great Message from a Great Guy
We need these all over the state of Texas.

David is the kind of AG we need here in the great state of Texas to show these corporate whores we no longer want them messing around in our politics.

This clearly sends a message that David is ready to take them to task.

"Fight 'em till hell freezes over then fight 'em on the ice....", just another great slogan from Van Os.:applause:

Cheers to David

21. Yes we most certainly do,
only thing bad about it is the corporate money that is poured into it.

Right now we have Greg Abbott as our AG. He is bought and paid (as we like to say deep in the pockets of big bidness) for through several corporations and Bob Perry who has given Abbott $570,000 in political contributions, and that Perry gave Abbott $50,000 in one payment on December 15, 2005 alone.

If you can remember back in 2004 election Perry is one of the financial backers of the swift boaters club. He threw a lot of money into that little campaign.

Abbott has a war chest in the millions for his re-election. He is well funded from the insurance, pharma, oil companies, etc. and he always rules in their favor. BIG SURPRISE!

Texas needs to show him the door, we can't afford this man anymore.

So, if you have some extra cash you can depart with David sure could use all that we can send his way. David is not getting any support from the DNC, that I'm aware of, although I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

Also to learn more about David you should head over to the Texas forum and check out some of his threads he has posted. Always an informative read!

25. I'm glad he picked dallas as his first "target".
and I'm glad he's chosen "big oil" as his nemesis. There are a huge amount of people in this area who are not registered to vote.Gas prices here are affecting everyone.Hopefully, this will be the catalyst to get them out and VOTING!
we need to be sure we continue to support guys like Van Os-even if we aren't Texan(which I am)-because through this kind of courage, other maverick candidates in other states are supported-by aligning themselves with him,and when the inevitable news coverage starts-supporting this cause, thereby making it their own.
Follow the link posted earlier, and throw some cash van Os's way,DU-it will encourage your own representatives to speak out.word gets out...

The hardest working candidate running in Texas. He's the powerhouse engine that's pulling the whole state ticket forward. Except David is running on grassroots support, so give him a little fuel will ya?
