SANTORUM/DOBSON irritated with GOP: "Marriage amendment important!"

During the January 12 broadcast of his radio program, Focus on the Family founder and chairman James C. Dobson complained that the Republican Party, in control of the White House and Congress, has "very little ... to show for it" in terms of accomplishing the goals of "the pro-family agenda, the pro-moral agenda, the sanctity of life."

In a discussion with Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) about the relation of family life to social policy issues, Dobson said he wished that Republicans "would begin to take stock of what they're doing to the family," and lamented that "very little ... has been accomplished that relates to ... conservative social issues," adding that "there's just nothing going on." Dobson speculated that Americans "are pretty irritated" at both Democrats and Republicans for that reason.

In response, Santorum expressed his desire for Congress to vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment, calling it "one of the most important pieces of legislation" for 2006. Santorum described as "foundational for our society" the amendment's purpose of "protecting marriage ... between one man and one woman," and spoke of a recent meeting of the Arlington Group, a coalition that, according to its founder Paul Weyrich, is the source of "the effort to put marriage on the ballot in eleven States."

Santorum finally comes out of the closet! Important my ass, what level of lunacy does one have to reach to be able to compartmentalize all of the evils in this world and focus on two boys kissing?!

11. Where is his place? I had an open letter to him up here once because he
refused to respond to some very valid scientific studies that suggest strongly that gayness is genetic. He uses one study from 1993 on his site to this day and refutes it as if this is the gospel.

One of the studies BTW was an interesting one where they found that with gay men many of their hair swirled in an opposite and consistent way and was related to the mother's hair swirl. If someone has the energy go to pubmed.com and put in genetic + hair + homosexual and you should be able to pull it up.

21. Try this. After you send in the "question" - I actually pressed "comment"
http://family.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/family.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php?p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9OTAmcF9wYWdlPTE*&p_li=

and it sent me to this form which is in the form of a question - you have to click twice as I remember because they send you to another page when you have to verify your desire to send them something. They try to discourage the number of emails so they do tricky little things to get people to not really send them in.

They should also reply to you. They replied to my first few letters but then, when they were stumped they quit.

9. For one; they are all too busy hiding money covering up their gifts
of the last several years. And two; my guess is that most of them probably don't give a shit and all their promises to him were used to get his money.

BTW - Shouldn't there be some sort of investigation going on of where Dobson's money went?

Other than that the man is a flaming homosexual/phobe. He needs a sanitarium.

15. And the reason why
the republicans don't do shit about it is because they really don't care and also so they can keep sucking in the fundies to vote against their own best intrest's.

13. You got to be 'effin me
You mean James "Fathers should shower with their young sons and show them their penis" Dobson?

And Ricky "Let's bring the dead fetus home to show the other kids" Santorum?

Both are poster children for a few pages in the DSM-IV.

And those clowns want to run the world. Pro-family, my ass. More like pro-fessional weirdos.

22. A Pair Of Narcissistic Self Loathing Queers
James needs to retire so he can spend more time with his gay porn and hairpiece. Ricky needs to lose his Senate seat so he can spend more time with his gay porn and his dead fetus.

My EX-Fundie Spousal Unit (he wasn't a fundie when we met, he joined up because he saw $$$$$$$) went on a "speaking tour" with Dobson and I am dead convinced they had an affair. The EX is a Narcissistic Self Loathing Queer as well.

Image & Control. THAT IS IT!

he slept with his wife's micarried dead fetus and invited his children to hold. Dobson beat the living shit our of his weiner dog and then bragged about it in his book about disciplining children.

I'd love to see the both of them implode,,,face it fundies, the neo cons don't give a shit about you now that your usefulness is almost over. Tehir only it for their own ego, power and self aggrandizement!!

24. I am so tired of twisted control freaks like these two,
who want nothing more than to control the lives of others via legislation and manipulation. They both need to STFU and mind their own business. It's not like their lives are pure and "normal" by any stretch of the term. One of them advocates fathers taking their sons into the shower for a game of "who has the bigger pecker", and the other made his kids hold a dead fetus.

25. I have a feeling that master manipulating pychologist Dobson's
donations are down, or at least leveling, as the economy worsens. And he is fighting for retention of his 501 3(C.) How much does it cost to maintain an 83 acre estate in Colorado Springs anyway? And if he loses his "non-profit" status, how much will the property taxes be.

He made a wrong turn attacking SpongeBob and Big Bros/Big Sis'.

28. Well, please excuse
the FUCK out of me, but I consider universal health care, a living wage, and a few other things much more important than imposing right-wing morals on other people. Nobody dies because gays are given equal rights, but people die from lack of health care, lack of money to heat their homes, lack of food, and being homeless.

I'm so sick of these hypocrites pretending to speak for the American family, when in reality, they are speaking only for the narrow minded, hateful, bigoted few. They are poisoning our country with their venom and hatred. It's time to stop them. We all need to speak out against them, at every opportunity.

When Americans can't afford to buy medicine, or food, or heat their homes, or buy gas for their cars, who the hell cares who marries who? Let's leave that up to the ones who are getting married. Nobody was allowed to vote 20 years ago when my husband and I got married, and nobody should be allowed to vote on another couple's marriage now.
