Since the judge called DeLay's scheme "fraud on the voters"
what are the chances of anyone going after him for the campaign contributions he fraudulently leveraged? Not that anyone that donated to that slimeball would admit it. But his solicitation of contributions was itself fraudulent. Of course the people who gave it got it that way in the first place.

This is academic, mind you, because I really don't care about the money - or his contributores. I would, however, enjoy seeing him squirm some more before going to join his friend Kenny Boy.

1. I'm glad DeLay stiffed his donors. And I hope they resent it.
Perhaps it will make them think twice about supporting the GOP in the future. People who have supported GOP candidates need to do a quick fact check to see how many campaign promises have been broken. Like smaller government. Fiscal responsibility. Restoring integrity.

The GOP has lied to its supporters, and all but the most severe Kool Aid addicts must be realizing this by now. If you're paying attention, you know you've been had by these people.

2. A larger question should be: Why are they letting him run at all?

3. He is not running
He quit the Congress and has said he will not run again and moved to Virginia. It is not about Delay running or having his name on the ballot. It is whether the Democrat will run unopposed on the ballot. The court has ruled it will be either Delay or no one and Delay has made it abundantly clear he is not running.
